On the 5th of December, 2019 Pak Astronomers Islamabad conducted a small talk and astronomy observation session in Comsats islamabad . The event was attended by Dr Rana Liaquat Ali Assistant professor of the Electronics and Physics department at the University. Khawar Ali Sher from the Pak Astronomers Islamabad (PAS - ISB) delivered a brief talk, for the students before the observation event. Saif Qureshi the founder and President of Pak Astronomers also enlightened the students about his passion and experience of Astronomy.
Later on, during the observation students huddled around the telescopes, especially Farrukh Shahzad 's motorized telescope and the massive Zhumell dobsonian with a 10 inch primary mirror owned by Saif sb were the main attractions. With his immense experience of managing telescopes, Dr Farrukh gave hands on learning experience to the students and educated them about various aspects of observational astronomy and telescopes, Muhammad Saad who is a senior member held interactive discussions with the students on various topics during the observation session. The students were able to observe the Moon, planets Saturn and Venus among other objects.
