On the 6th of April 2019, Pak Astronomers arranged lectures and observation sessions for the students of the Sweet Home Orphanage in Islamabad. The event was organized as a part of Outer Space Knowledge Day under the Access Program of the US State Deparment.
Pak Astronomers team including Saif Ul Islam Qureshi, Hammad Hamid, Khawar Sher, Muhammad Saad and Akmal Shaheen were present at the event. A total of 5 telescopes were used for the observation session in which the students were able to observe star clusters, binary stars and nebulae using the astronomical telescopes of Pak Astronomers Islamabad.
Pak Astronomers would also like to thank Mr. Muhammad Ahmed for coordinating the entire event on behalf of the Access Program.
